Ricki Mercier

Ricki was born in Edmonton , Alberta and it has always been her home. She is surrounded by a wonderful support system including family, friends and her boyfriend, Sean.

She graduated in 2006 from NAIT with a certificate in Graphic Communications and now works as a prepress operator for McCallum Printing.

Ricki enjoys spending time with her family and friends, walking her dog and horseback riding.

She has been on the board of directors of the MMF since its inception in 2004 and enjoys working closely with her father, Mark and the other members of the board to make a difference for this worthy cause.

Salvatore N. Corea , BA, CFP, CIMA

Salvatore Corea obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Alberta majoring in Economics, with an emphasis in the Financial Markets. Sal is a Certified Financial Planner and Partner of Sorrell Financial. He has over 15 years of investment advisory and financial planning experience. Sal is a member of Advocis, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, Conference of Advanced Life Underwriters, and Investment Management Consultants Association.

Sal has been Past Chairman of the Make-A-Wish Golf Classic, a member of the MacEwan Mad Hatters Committee, and a member of STARs Campaign Cabinet. He was invited to join the Board of Directors of the MMF in 2007 and has both sponsored and volunteered at past fund raising functions. Sal remains committed to his charitable involvements and welcomes the opportunity to contribute to this valuable cause.

Guy Gibbs

Guy Gibbs spent the first years of his life traveling North America with his family following his father's NHL career. After living in Minnesota , Atlanta , St. Louis , and Los Angeles , Lloydminster, Fort McMurray he started his post secondary education at the University of Waterloo and graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor of Mathematics in Operations Research. Once completing his degree, he worked for the Mutual Group as a computer programmer for 3 years. He then rejoined his family in Alberta and settling in Edmonton , becoming VP of Operations at the family business, Barry Gibb Sales.

Guy is active in the community, supporting many charitable organizations. Guy met Mark, a fellow golf enthusiast, at the Windermere Golf and Country Club in 1998, and the two became fast friends. From this friendship he was inspired to be one of the four founding members of the Mark Mercier Foundation and is committed to furthering the foundation's goal of Education, Research and improving the lives of those with movement disorders.

Gregg Gaylard

After graduating with a Bachelors of Science degree from Concordia University in Montreal, Gregg has chosen to make Edmonton his home. He has been happily married for 18 years and feels very fortunate to have identical twin daughters.

Gregg is President and part owner of Urecon, a medium sized manufacturing firm that supplies factory insulated piping systems to the Americas . He is VP of the Greater Windermere Community League ( GWCL ) in Edmonton , and is the Human Resources Manager for Edmonton 's elite synchronized swimming team, the Auroras.

Gregg was invited to join the Board of Directors of the MMF in 2007, and has both sponsored and volunteered at past fund raising functions. He looks forward to contributing wherever he can on behalf of this very worthwhile cause.
